LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), and NESPAK commemorated Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day with patriotic fervor through various ceremonies held in Lahore.
At SNGPL Head Office, a flag hoisting ceremony was led by Managing Director (MD) Amer Tufail, who urged employees to work unitedly for the betterment of the country and the company’s development. He also paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal for their pivotal roles in securing Pakistan’s independence. The event concluded with the MD planting a sapling as a symbol of growth and renewal.
LCCI celebrated the day with great enthusiasm, with its President Kashif Anwar leading the ceremony at the Chamber’s premises. He emphasized the significance of Independence Day as a reminder of the sacrifices made for a sovereign Pakistan, urging the business community to contribute proactively to nation-building. Anwar highlighted the importance of economic strength in maintaining the country’s sovereignty and encouraged the younger generation to embody the spirit of independence.
Meanwhile, NESPAK marked the occasion with a dignified ceremony at NESPAK House, where MD Zargham Eshaq Khan proudly announced record-breaking business acquisitions totaling over Rs23 billion in 2024, a 25% increase from the previous year. The event also included awards for top-performing divisions and a commitment to translating NESPAK’s success into tangible benefits for its staff.
These ceremonies reflected the dedication of these organizations to Pakistan’s progress and the shared pride in the nation’s independence.
